Who We Are

We are first and foremost a church whose head is Jesus Christ. Our primary authority in all matters is the Bible. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the North Carolina Baptist Association and the Buncombe Baptist Association.

What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and our authority in all matters important to the church.

We believe therefore in one god who exists as Spirit and reveals Himself to people as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus the Christ is God and He manifested Himself in a human form to make God known more fully to the world.

We believe Jesus was born of a virgin, led a perfect life, died a perfect sacrificial death and was resurrected on the third day and now sits at the right hand of God the Father interceding and ruling creation.
