Worship at Woodland Hills Church entails a great deal more than music. Beyond the wide-ranging opportunities in the choral and band ministry, there are additional worship teams devoted to drama, as well as in the technical arena (lighting, multi-media & sound). Worship choir
If you are reading this, we need you. If you would like to serve alongside others who share your passion, gifting, and commitment to worship excellence, come explore the many ways you can serve Him in the WHC Worship Choir. The Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings and sings in Worship services every week and aims to sing stand alone songs twice monthly. No audition is required, but an ability to maintain pitch, blend in a section, and a worshipping heart are all needed!

Band
A band is in place to support our congregational worship and ministry pieces.
Skilled musicians with the ability to read chord charts in multiple keys as well as improvisational arrangements are always in demand. The Band rehearses each week from 6 - 7 P.M. on Wednesday evenings. They then play through worship rehearsal from 7 – 7:45 P.M. So, set up your audition and interview with the Worship Pastor and Musical Director to be part of this action! Our desire is to be several positions deep in each of the following positions so that we may spread
the load across many talented shoulders:

Keyboard - Accessory Keyboard - Elec. Guitar - Bass Guitar - Drum set - Accessory Percussion - Acoustic Guitar - Flute, sax, penny whistle - Violin

Vocal team
Each week at Woodland Hills, our Vocal Team lead us in worship through song. More than a group of singers, the Vocal Team members help to focus and direct our worship with their voices and expressions. They encourage those in the Worship Center to participate, which adds hundreds of voices to their own as together we lift up praise to God.

Committed to Worship: There is one Vocal Team at Woodland Hills that meets weekly for rehearsal and rotates duties, leading in worship approximately two Sundays per month. In this way, members of the Vocal Teams can also enjoy worship from the congregation's perspective.

Vocal Teams are coordinated through the Worship Ministry and are selected via audition. Groups are composed of 4-6 people and require a high level of commitment (weekly rehearsals/twice per month singing on weekends) and talent (sight reading/ear singing/strong leadership vocally).

KID’S CHOIR
Our Children’s choirs are in two different choirs (K - 2^nd grade Music Makers) and (3^rd - 6^th grade Young Musicians) that meet on Wednesday evenings from
5:30 - 6:15 P.M. which funnel right into our fabulous Children’s AWANA Program.

TECH TEAMS
A number of technical teams exist to enable the services to run smoothly within the venue of lighting, multi-media & sound for our weekly services. Those who have the availability and heart to learn are invited to call the Church office to join one of these tech teams. Contact John Setterlind.
